It’s been a while since I’ve posted on my blog, which has been for a number of reasons. Firstly, I’m rehearsing with a new band which means learning lots of songs and practising them with the other band members. Art is also featuring more and more in my life, now that the warm weather has returned and I can go back into my studio. The clement weather means I’m also spending more time in the garden and for only the second year I’m growing vegetables as well as flowers. All this means I’m busy busy and have less time for writing. 

It isn’t just all of that however. The other reason is that I’m not feeling as inspired to write. I haven’t got any fresh ideas or new things on my mind. There’s another short story mulling in my head, but it’s not quite ready to come out yet. It will in time. Anyway, I’m still reading other people’s blogs and looking in on my lovely WordPress community. I just thought I’d check in and let you know how things are going. This retirement lark is non-stop! 😂
