Why do you blog?

My mind is always active and constantly curious, so my daily blog is my way of framing and forming my thoughts. It helps me set them down, moulding and shaping them into persuasive prose that I hope others will read and enjoy. It is cathartic, in that I write to discover myself and also to shape my beliefs and opinions. By writing them down, I understand and formulate my values. Like all exercise, it is a discipline that strengthens my cognisance, and I need that as I age. Writing soothes my restless spirit. It anchors me. It is a window into my soul. From my writing, I become a better version of myself. Through my writing, I know myself that much more. It is my companion, my friend, and my allay. Writing is my beacon. It is the warm light of hope that guides me through the pathways of the present into a brighter future.
