What are your top ten favourite movies?

My choice of movies, like most of the books I read, are selected purely on their entertainment value, or the way they link to important memories in my life. I’m not one of those educated film buffs who can recite directors, producers or even actors names! I just watch stuff. I like sci-fi most, followed by true-life biopics, historical, comedy, then horror. I dislike upsetting, violent, tough-guy action films, murder/detective movies, gangster films & most rom-coms. I’ve picked more than ten, and in no particular order:
