Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.

A decision I’ve made that helped me grow?

All of them.

I think that it is important to understand that every decision we make, good or bad, creates knowledge about ourselves. We can, and should, learn about critical thinking, to know how to make the most effective choices using the information we have. But, even then, we sometimes learn most when we think we have made the wrong decision. I’m uncomfortable with the term ‘growth’. It suggests we always have to be taking positive steps, when in fact, we grow by taking the wrong steps too.

Life is like a game of jenga. It isn’t about always removing the best block. Often, we learn from removing the worst block.
