Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

Good health. I was fit, lean, young, and quick. Time, entropy and gradual physical decline has made me older, slower, and less able. I miss being able to take good health for granted. They say every cell in your body is replaced every seven years, but I don’t think that’s true in my case, because I’ve sure as hell lost some along the way and I don’t think I’m getting them back! That said, I do enjoy taking things more slowly. It’s nice to savour moments more fully. I appreciate them better. Although saying goodbye was hard, welcoming my new friend Old Age has been a great learning experience.
