
I really love this quote from Plato, written nearly 2,400 years ago. It’s still resonates with me now and I think it’s good for younger people to bear in mind. Us oldies are here to help and guide. (The illustration is by me).
Too often, I have to sit back and watch my younger friends, family and colleagues make the same mistakes I did. You don’t want to constantly nag, interfere or lecture, so you just sit back, letting all that wisdom go to waste. Shame really.
